Eritrea: Inhabitants to Step Up Participation in Social Service Facilities

Molqi — The inhabitants of Molqi sub-zone asserted that they would step up participation in the putting in place of social service facilities. They further pointed out that they have become beneficiaries of various social service facilities, and said that they would integrate their financial and labor resources with a view to backing government endeavors to this end.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Woldenigus Beraki, Mr. Tekle Berhe, Mr. Tesfamariam Mehari and Mr. Niguse Gebrehiwet explained that the locality's topography has caused major challenge in the construction of roads, and called on the pertinent bodies to facilitate the launching of mobile telephone service which is in progress.

Mr. Berhane Gaim, in charge of the construction of mobile telephone tower in the locality, disclosed that the process was delayed due to the mountainous landscape of the area.
