Ethiopia: Land Training

The Ministry of Urban Development & Construction (MoUDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Addis Ababa University (AAU) to train manpower in various fields of Land Development and Management.

he government will soon be undertaking Land and Real Property Registration Project country-wide for which it needs skilled labour. Property registration, mapping and surveying are skills needed currently needed by the government, according to Mekuria. Priority will be given to officials from MoUDC, Regional Urban Development and Construction bureaus, and city and town administration officials involved in land management.
