Nigeria: Six Killed in Auto Crash in Malumfashi

The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed the death of six persons on Sunday in an auto crash on Kwankwama Road in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Aminu Sadiq, said that 16 others were injured in the accident that involved a bus and a car.

An eyewitness, Malam Ibrahim Andayi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the vehicles had a head-on collision and burst into flames, killing the six victims on the spot.

Andayi said that the injured were rushed to Malumfashi General Hospital for medical attention.
