Angola: MPLA Wants Politically Enlightened Officials

Benguela — The first secretary of the ruling MPLA party in central Benguela province, Armando da Cruz Neto, has recommended the election of politically enlightened, dynamic , available, creative and influential militants in the society for the different structures of the party.

The official recommended this Monday at the 7th ordinary plenary session of the provincial committee.

The event is intended to addresses, among others, the organic process assessment and renewal of mandates underway in the organisation's action committees (CAP).

Armando da Cruz Neto underlined that the goals, objectives and public policies that will be implemented until 2017 are part of the ruling party's governance programme, approved in the latest elections.

The meeting serves to reflect on the electoral process, assesses the level of implementation of the growth strategy of the party in the last two years.
