Mauritania's team of local players advanced to the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) next round, after winning their return leg qualifier against Liberia's Lone Stars 2-1 on Saturday (December 15th). President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz and government members attended the Nouakchott match.
The Mourabitounes won the first leg 1-0.
