Rached Ghannouchi, the leader of Tunisia's ruling Ennahda party, will visit Mauritania next week, Al Akhbar reported on Saturday (December 15th).

Moroccan Justice Minister Mustafa Ramid and Bouguerra Soltani of Algeria's Algeria's Movement of Society for Peace (MSP) are among the scores of African and Arab politicians expected to attend the second congress of Islamist party Tawassoul, which opens next Thursday.

Ghannouchi will also participate in a series of conferences at the University of Nouakchott.
