A prison warder at King'ong'o prison in Nyeri shot dead his girlfriend last night before attempting to commit suicide. The officer was allegedly not happy with his pay slip after receiving it. He also injured a colleague before shooting himself. He has been admitted at Mathari Mission Hospital in critical condition.
