Liberia: 'Pursue Higher Height'

Graduates of the Smythe Institute of Management and Technology have been urged to pursue higher height if they must achieve their future goals.

The statement was made by Representative Edwin Melvin Snowe when he served as guest speaker at the 10th commencement convocation of the institution over the weekend.

Representative Snowe said it is important for graduates to pursue higher academic achievement and do away with complacency.

"Don't feel complacent and say this degree I have is sufficient; pursue higher height because that is the only way you will achieve your future goals," Representative Snowe admonished the graduates.

He cautioned them to be determined in whatever path they choose in life, adding that the future they have envisaged will be challenging.

More than 165 students earned Associate of Arts Degrees in different disciplines including Accounting, Management, Banking and Finance, Computer Science, General Agriculture, Criminal Justice and Nursing.
