Gambia: Bakau Beat Manjai to Secure Semifinal Spot

Bakau secured a place in the semifinals of the Super Nawettan championship following a post-match penalty shoot-out win over Manjai on Sunday.

The game played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda stood at 0-0 at the end of regulation time. The post-match penalty ended 7-6 in favour of Bakau.

Speaking to reporters after the game, the head coach of Bakau, Kebba Jesper Touray, expressed delight with his side's victory and promised to play the semi-finals with the same tactical approach.
