Tunis — Industry Minister Mohamed Chakhari denied, during a debate of National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Energy Committee on the viability of shale gas exploration, that his department had granted authorisations to explore shale gas in Tunisia, whose potentialities are estimated at 500 billion cubic meter.
