Zambia: Chibuluma Donates

CHIBULUMA Mines has donated assorted items and fuel worth K16 million to Lufwanyama District Health Office to help deliver quality health services.

The donated items were Personal Protection Equipment that included 45 pairs of gum boots, 45 pairs of overalls to go towards Indoor Residue Spraying programme.

Chibuluma chief service officer Margaret Mwale said the firm had outlined some priority areas in which to offer quality services.

Ms Mwale said her firm would ensure that people were provided with quality health services.

She said in its social corporate responsibility, Chibuluma had been rendering services to some Government departments in Lufwanyama District.

"We have purchased 45 pairs of gum boots 45 and 45 pairs of overalls for sprayer operators at the value of K12 million.

"And we have also contributed towards the same programme diesel worth K4 million.

IRS Programme is an annual Government plan in the Ministry of Health in malaria intervention.
