Angola: Association Envisages Decrease of Obstacles for Inventors

Luanda — National inventors will find it easier as from February 2013 to promote, protect and acquire financing for their projects, announced Monday in Luanda the secretary of the commission for the creation of the Inventors Association, Laurindo Ferreira.

"The concrete objective of the association is to gather the highest number of inventors, creators and innovators in the domain of science. We are here to encourage and put measures into action and become a technological and functional development force", he said.

Laurindo Ferreira stressed that the association has the aim to select and promote projects that can be advantageous to the country's development, for such over 100 registered members will get support at the level of the state, institutions and some companies.

He also appealed to all creators, inventors and others to join the cause of the association being formed, so that it can gradually develop.
