Nairobi has the highest number of legal alcohol drinkers followed by Central and Eastern provinces. Rift Valley tops in the usage of traditional liquor followed by Western province. The survey by NACADA however shows a general decline of alcohol and substance abuse from 22% in 2007 to 19.5 % in 2012
