Eritrea: Hagaz Sub-Zone Seminar Conducted

Hagaz — The branch offices of Police Forces and the PFDJ in Hagaz sub-zone jointly organized a seminar for the inhabitants with a view to reinforcing community participation in development programs and raising popular awareness regarding law.

Mr. Ateshim Negasi, head of the PFDJ branch in the sub-zone, called on the inhabitants to step up participation as regards the putting in place of development programs. Capt. Kidane Woldemichael, Police commander in the locality, pointed out that efforts made towards reducing instances of crime and traffic accident have brought about positive outcome, and called on the community to step up collaboration with the Police.

The participants of the seminar on their part put forth views regarding various issues, and called for the enhancement of control mechanism on transport tariffs.

Mr. Idris Mohammed Hamd, Administrator of the sub-zone, called on the inhabitants to enhance collaboration with the sub-zonal Administration office and practice judicious utilization of social service facilities.
