Kenya: U.S. Singer Sponsors Moi University Student

As part of his charity projects, American singer Anthony Faulkner is sponsoring a university student through his education.

The singer who formed a foundation named after him to assist orphanages, will be paying the student's fees and provide funds for housing, supplies, food, and transportation.

"I met him at Mavuno Dome a while back when I was in Kenya. He presented me with his needs and I was just impressed by how organised he was . He promised me that if I helped him with the school fees he would in turn help his family and who was I to say no?" Anthony Faulkner told Word Is. The student who prefers anonymity is in his second year of college.

The singer who held a charity concert in Nairobi on Sunday was looking to raise funds for his foundation. He is also supporting By Grace Children's Home in Kayole which he visited a week ago and gave them Christmas presents.

The Faulkner Foundation is funded solely by the artiste, who is a graduate of the University of Houston with an accounting major.
