Nigeria: Kogi Deputy Gov Faults ACN Over Flood Disaster Management Claims

THE Kogi State Deputy Governor, Arch. Yomi Awoniyi, has accused the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Kogi State Chapter of unnecessarily crying wolf when there is nothing wrong.

He insisted that the statement credited to the ACN in the state, that the State has mismanaged donations received for the Flood Disaster Management as "frivolous, unfounded" and an attempt at scoring cheap political point.

Reacting to the report published by some dailies on Monday and credited to the State Chairman of the ACN, Alhaji Haddy Ametuo, Awoniyi, said it was surprising that a political party of ACN's standing could make such wild allegations, full of falsehoods against his person, the Governor of the state and the State Government without any substantiation.
