The Public Relations Officer of the brigade, Capt. Rose Managbe, confirmed the release of the suspects while speaking with newsmen in her office.

She said that the Monarch of Agbor, Dien Benjamin Keagborekuzi, sent three chiefs, led by Chief Gideon Okobia, to sign surety for the release of the suspects.

Managbe debunked allegations that the suspects had to pay for their food while in detention. She also denied that some of the suspects had to pay N70,000 each to secure their bail.
