Medorthophobia: Fear Of Erect Penises

Medorthophobia is also known as the fear of erect penises; erections, getting an erection; and having an erection.

Symptoms include:

- A feeling of uncontrollable anxiety when you think about or are exposed to erections

- The feeling that you must do everything possible to avoid erections

- The inability to function normally because of your anxiety

- Often, the knowledge that your fears are unreasonable or exaggerated but feeling powerless to control them

Parthenophobia: Fear Of Virgins Or Young Girls

Parthenophobia is a social anxiety, an abnormal and persistent fear of young girls (virgins).

Although many people with parthenophobia feel as if the thought of being near young women or even in close proximity, may bring on a feeling of a life threatening panic attack or severe anxiety: this is untrue. These adults understand that their thoughts may be irrational; however, they have no way of containing these feelings. These irrational thoughts lead to lives filled with loneliness and fear. The fear of going out in public because of being near these young girls. It leads to the inability to construct proper relationships as they get older for fear of having young girls.

Symptoms include:

- Loss of breath, breathlessness

- Profuse sweating, everywhere, all over the body

Medomalacuphobia: Fear Of Erectile Dysfunction

Medomalacuphobia is the fear of losing an erection.

Symptoms include:

- A feeling of uncontrollable anxiety when you think about or are exposed to erection loss

- The feeling that you must do everything possible to avoid erection loss

- The inability to function normally because of your anxiety

- Often, the knowledge that your fears are unreasonable or exaggerated but feeling powerless to control them

Gymnophobia: Fear Of Being Nude

An abnormal and persistent fear of nudity. Sufferers of this phobia experience undue anxiety even though they realize their fear is irrational. They may worry about seeing others naked or being seen naked, or both. Their fear may stem from anxiety about sexuality in general, from a fear that their bodies are physically inferior, or from a fear that their nakedness leaves their bodies-and their personalities-exposed and unprotected.

- The feeling that you must do everything possible to avoid nudity

- The inability to function normally because of your anxiety

Eurotophobia: Fear Of Genitals, Especially Female Ones

Eurotophobia is an abnormal fear of female genitals, which may have an adverse affect on both women and men.

Symptoms include:

- A feeling of uncontrollable anxiety when you think about or are exposed to genitals

- The feeling that you must do everything possible to avoid genitals

- The inability to function normally because of your anxiety

- Often, the knowledge that your fears are unreasonable or exaggerated but feeling powerless to control them
