Nigeria: Group Endorses ACN, ANPP, CPC Merger

Kano — Group of concerned citizens under the auspices of Merger Support Group (MSG) has endorsed the efforts made by ACN, ANPP, CPC and others to merge and form a new political party that will challenge the PDP.

In a statement issued by the group in Kano signed by its National President Alhaji Farouq Hassan Mohammed, the group says the merger is the only answer to the present political situation as well as the security challenges faced by the nation. It stated that the present situation calls for a serious consolidated action that will involve all Nigerians in saving the country from total anarchy and possible disintegration.
