Angola: Fashion Designer to Present Collection for Children and Teens

Luanda — The Angolan fashion designer Cássia de Almeida will present on 27-28 December in the southern Huíla province her new summer clothes collection for children and teenagers.

Speaking to Angop on Tuesday, the designer said that during the event she will present clothes in African and Eupean tradition styles for minors between the ages of 5 and 17.

Cássia de Almeida said that she will exhibit a new line of hot season, which will include formal and informal clothes.

According to her, the initiative of the project is on account that there are a few designers sewing for children and teenagers.

Regarding the prices, the designer considered them to be reasonable, estimated at AKZ 5000 (minimum) and 100.000 kwanzas (maximum).

She said that there will be a reduction of the prices, if the there is investment in the Angolan textile sector.

The fashion designer appealed to business people to invest in the sector so as to develop the activity countrywide.

Cássia de Almeida was born in Luanda and started her career in 2006.
