Gambia: Gunjur LB School Inter-House Athletics Competition Set for Today

The 2012 Gunjur Lower Basic School annual interhouse athletics championship is billed for today, Wednesday, 19 December 2012 at the school's playground.

Five houses, namely Africell, Gamcel, Comium, QCell and Trust Bank, are vying for the championship, which attracts spectators including parents and guardians.

The school will use the championship to scout good athletes for the West Coast Region athletics team that will represent the region in the forthcoming Inter-Lower Basic School Athletics Championship set for 18 February 2013 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
