Soyo — The minister of Higher Education, Adão do Nascimento, met on Tuesday in Soyo district, northern Zaire province, with the academia of the Polytechnic Higher Education School to assess the functioning of the institution and its organic units.

Presenting a summary at the end of the meeting with over 100 students, the minister pointed out the lack of professors, laboratory asses, bibliography and good accommodation for national and foreign professors as the main difficulties faced by the teaching institutions.

He said that his ministry and provincial government of Zaire are doing their best to resolve the existing difficulties, creating good spaces of accommodation for professors, laboratory assets and libraries.

Adão do Nascimento clarified that the plan includes acquisition, distribution, setting, management and renewal of bibliography and equipment for laboratories.
