Malanje — The Secretary of State for Culture, Cornélio Caley, Monday in northern Malanje province defended the need of increasingly enhance the figures that were part of the history of Angola, through the divulgence of their deeds.
The official said so when speaking at the closing ceremony of the first meeting on the kingdom of Ndongo, sponsored by the Association of the Residents and Friends of Marimba district (Ana-Marimba).
According to him, the Angolan historical figures are of great reference because they were the leading actors of the country's history due to their intervention in the political and territorial process during the resistance against colonial occupation.
Among them, the State Secretary for Culture mentioned the kings Ngola Kiluanje, Ngola Mbande, Ngola Kanine and Nginga Mbande.
