Nigeria: Kogi State Donates Equipment to TB, Leprosy Centres

Lokoja — The Kogi State government has donated equipment and operational vehicles to tuberculosis and leprosy centres in eight local governments of the state.

Presenting the items, the state's commissioner for health, Omede Idris, said the items are to boost operation at the centres. He said TB and leprosy programmes are supported by development partners, federal and state governments.

The local governments that benefitted from the gesture include: Adavi, MopaMoro, Omala, Lokoja, Kogi, Ofu, Okehi, Kabba/Bunu as well as the TB and Leprosy headquarters in Lokoja.
