Nigeria: Rejection of Health Bill Blackmail - Medical Union

A bill seeks to provide a frame-work for regulation of national health system by setting standards for rendering of health services in the country, among others.

However, some health unions have kicked against the bill saying some of the provisions would scuttle service delivery and favour some professional bodies in the sector.

NMA President Dr Osahon Enabulele said attempts to scuttle the bill were because of "inordinate, illogical and unrealisable territorial quest."
