Nigeria: Plateau Govt Accuses Labour of Attacking Public Property

Jos — A statement by the state Commissioner of Information and Communication, Pastor Abraham Yiljap, said the state government condemned the act, saying however that the commissioner, his permanent secretary and other staff of the ministry were unharmed.

While responding to the allegations, the state Secretary Medical and Health Workers Union, Richard Gbawnuan, said the striking workers were not responsible for the attack at the ministry and accused the government of sponsoring miscreants to truncate the peace in the state.
