Morocco: Nation Jails M20F Activists

Eight members of Morocco's February 20 Movement (M20F) received prison sentences of 3-6 months for participation in an unauthorised demonstration, the Moroccan Association for Human Rights (AMDH) announced on Tuesday (December 18th)

The activists were arrested September 29th during a protest in Sidi Ifni, near Agadir.

"They were simply demanding the right to work," AMDH regional representative Abdallah Idrissi told AFP.
