Kenya: Ruto Cannot Be Trusted - Namwamba

SPORTS minister Ababu Namwamba has accued Eldoret North MP William Ruto of misleading Kenyans that he will vie for presidency. Namwamba said Ruto has proved that he is not honest. He spoke at Ololulunga in Narok at the weekend.

"The URP leader told Kenyans that come what may, he will be in the ballot papers in the general election," Namwamba said.Namwamba wondered why Ruto has settled for a running mate position. The Budalangi MP also accused Rutoof misinforming the people during the 2010 referendum.

The minister called on Kenyans to reject such leaders and elect leaders who have remained steadfast and honest.He asked Kenyans to vote for Prime Minister Raila Odinga saying he is the only person who will fully implement the constitution."Of all the candidates vying for the presidency, it is only Raila who can fully implement the current constitution. Others are known to be reluctant democrats who will sabotage it," he said.
