Kenya: Gentlemen in Concert Wows Audience

TV and Radio personalities from different stations came together to give a thrilling performance dubbed 'Gentlemen in Concert' at the Braeburn Theatre along Gitanga Road, Nairobi, last Saturday evening.

Johnstone Mwakazi (Citizen), Michael Oyier (KTN), Debarl Inea (NTV) and Maqbul Mohammed (Capital FM) put aside their different editorial policies to stage an awesome concert backed by members of different bands. The event was hosted by Citizen TV's Michelle Morgan.

"It takes a century to forget someone ... you don't know what you have until you lose it." These were the words in a poem recited by Mwakazi to a standing ovation from the highly-charged audience. The Band brought in the Christmas mood early when they belted out several Christmas Carols as the event was brought to a well-deserved climax with Debarl confiding that music is his first love.
