Egypt: Nation, Jordanian PMs Hold Talks On Regional Developments

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil held talks with his Jordanian counterpart Abdullah Ensour at the Jordanian Cabinet headquarters on means of boosting bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.

In his speech before the 23rd session of the Joint Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee on Thursday 20/12/2012, Qandil stressed the importance of development the relations between the two countries, especially in economic and trade fields.

He said the trade exchange between Egypt and Jordan is not up to the level of the distinguished relations between the two countries.

Earlier on Thursday 20/12/2012, Qandil arrived in Amman on an official visit. He was received by Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Awad Khulayfat at the airport.

This is the first visit by an Egyptian premier to Jordan after the January 25th Revolution.
