Egypt: ANHRI Organizes a Training Workshop On Administrating the Websites

ANHRI organized, on Wensday December 19, 2012, a training workshop on administrating the websites by using "word press" to a number of civil society organizations websites' administrators.

ANHRI called the civil society organizations to participate in the training workshop in the frame of "technical support to the civil society organizations" which targets to provide support to the civil society organizations in using the Internet effectively to communicate with a big sectors of the civil society concerns. Previously, the program included ANHRI contribution to establish websites to number of the civil society organizations. This workshop is completion to this contribution through training number of cadres of these organization. They were trained on the required skills to administrate the website by using the technician of "wordpress"; it is an open source and does not require professional expertise in designing and administrating the website. The training also included dealing with the social networks (like Facebook, twitter, flicker and etc...,) and how to announce any updates to reach the maximum number of internet users.

The workshop organized in the headqurter for one day from 12:00 pm and until 6:00 pm. The workshop included a theortical introduction (wordpress and explaination of the control panel) and practical training on administrating the email services, the workshop included two breaks. The theortical and practical presentations provided by "Ms. Marwa Mustafa" Manager of the Techinical Support Unit of ANHRI and "Mr. Emad Ouf", ANHRI administrative manager.

Egyptian Book Club;

Arab Coalition for Darfur;

The Egyptian Federation of Independent Trade Unions;

Khatwa Library; and

Tawsol for Developing (Establ Antar).
