The on going controversy over claims of backlog of unpaid salaries to Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi will not vacate the public space immediately as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has claimed it has made over N90 million in payment, representing salaries and bonuses to the national coach since November 2011.

With the kick off of the Africa Cup of Nations less than a month, media reports in the past days have narrowed on the failure of NFF to fulfil a key aspect of the contract, as it is said to be owing Keshi N30 million, which amounts to six months salary.

Though Keshi has since denied the veracity of the figures being bandied about and insisted he was not in dispute with the 'Glasshouse', NFF President Aminu Maigari, admitted on Wednesday that what the federation would pay to Keshi as indemnity is N10million which is the cumulative salaries due for the months of October and November.
