Angola: Fisheries Minister Swears in Cadres of Sector

Luanda — Sixteen new cadres of the department of the Ministry of Fisheries were sworn in this Thursday in Luanda, in a ceremony led by the incumbent minister, Victória de Barros Neto.

The minister invested officials for several areas, such as the National departments of fisheries and protection of fishing resources, infrastructures and fishing industry, aquiculture, technical office for production and iodization of salt and legal department.

On the occasion, Victória de Barros told the new managers that the tasks containing the programme of fisheries for 2013-2017 period will demand redoubled efforts, commitment, discipline, honesty, responsibility in the acts so far assumed and synchronization in the implementation of activities that each one is engaged in his/her tasks.

On the other hand, the minister said that the worker must take advantage of the intervention areas so as to boost the results of the Ministry of Fisheries.
