Angola: Red Cross Holds Over 9000 Workshops On Malaria

Caxito — Some 9.198 workshop on the fighting against malaria were held by the Angolan Red Cross (CVA) in the northern Bengo province, between 2004 and 2012.

This was said to Angop on Thursday in Caxito city by its official Baltazar Mateus Pedro, when speaking under the CVA second provincial assembly.

In addition, the official said that the talks benefited over 125.531 women and 97.855 men in Bengo province.

Sensitizing works were also held through social partners, 233 theatre plays that portrayed issues related to sexually communicable diseases, namely HIV/AIDS.
