Accor, the world's leading hotel operator, plans to strengthen its presence in Tunisia by building some 25 new properties, La Presse reported on Wednesday (December 19th).
"The prospects for co-operation between Tunisia and the hotel group are promising," Accor co-founder Gérard Pélisson said Tuesday after meeting with Tourism Minister Elyes Fakhfakh.
Tunisia could become the most popular tourist destination in the Mediterranean basin, the Accor executive said.
