Chairman of the House of Rep-resentatives Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa/NEPAD, Abubakar Momoh, yesterday disclosed his support for the passage of an Act to give the directorate legal backing.
He stated this in Abuja during the 7th annual Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA) Director General's merit award ceremony in Abuja.
Momoh , represented by Abdullahi Sidi Yakubu, urged the directorate to continue to reward hard working staff as a way of encouragement.
Earlier, former Minister of State II Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bagudu Hirse, called on other private and government establishments to emulate DTCA in rewarding hard work.
Acting DTCA Director-General, Suleiman Shuaibu, said the award ceremony was for the recognition of hard work.
