Zimbabwe: Gospel Concert to Awaken Kadoma

A gospel concert is scheduled for this Saturday in Waverly, Kadoma, where a total of eight groups will perform. The groups such as Higher Praise, Last Trumpet, Generation 4 People, No Fear, Panashia, Agape Choir and Temba Chirifuko will serenade worshippers into a journey of music and dance.

This is the first time such a gig is being held in Kadoma and it is running under the theme "Uniting the body of Christ through music".

Laison David, the organiser of the gig, said the preparations are on course.

"Preparations have started in earnest as those who are going to perform at the show have promised a wonderful performance.

"I am no novice in holding such shows and I want to leave a lasting impression and prove that such big shows are not a preserve of the major cities," he said.

David urged fans to come in their numbers saying it would be a rare opportunity for gospel fans to watch their idols live on stage.
