Gambia: BNL to Celebrate Celebrities Event

Banjul Night Live (BNL), a hit television talk show program with ever-increasing audience, is organizing a mega entertainment celebrity event slated for January 4th 2013.

The event that is expected to feature more Gambian artistes at the Kairaba Beach Hotel, the proceeds is designed to support the SOS children's Village and the Children's Ward at the RVTH. To be backed by the Humanity stars, the event will witness stars E-Nyassi, Diha, Gee, Mandingmory , Abou & Fafa and Poetic X.

Speaking to What's On, the presenter and host of the event -Ida Bidwell-Mbowe, explained that BNL started August 25th, 2012 and since the beginning the respond has been positive. "We have huge fans base not only in the Gambia but internationally".

Madam Bidwell-Mbowe further explained that they are doing the fundraising to help develop the TV show as well as extend a helping hand to the SOS Orphanage and Children's Ward at RVTH.

"The event will be characterize by Comedy segment and for the first time there will be celebrity action, where fans will choose their favorites stars stressing that the highest choice will have the chance for dinner to the finest restaurant. It is another way of promoting Gambian entertainment in general to showcase what the Gambia has to offer.

She the appealed to all the fans to support the worthy course, as it is way of developing the BNL show in their quest to give out to the Gambian populace.
