Angola: Millennium Bank, Medical Association Sign Agreement

Luanda — The Millennium Bank Angola signed Thursday in Luanda a protocol with the Association of Physicians for Angola on allocation of financial benefits to the members of the organ of the health sector.

The initiative provides for the granting of loans exclusively to the doctors registered with the Association for the purchase of new vehicles and TDA spare parts.

In order for this to happen, potential beneficiaries should deposit their salary in a Millennium Bank Account.

Under the protocol, the members of the Association of Doctors may join the Civil Servant Bank Account, in order to enjoy some privileges.

Among the privileges, stress goes to the exemption of fees on current accounts in Kwanzas, personal loans and bank cards for international use.

Signing the accord were António Gaioso Henriques for Millennium Bank Angola and Carlos Pinto de Sousa, who represented the Association of Doctors.

The ceremony was attended by Valdemar Marques, head of TDA Car Dealer.
