Angola: Uige Government Analyses Local Development Plan

Uíge — The Government of northern Uige province met Thursday here to analyse and approve the development plan and the profile of the province and districts, in general, with a view to accelerating the accomplishment of various outlined actions for the progress of the region.

At its first extraordinary session, chaired by the provincial governor, Paulo Pombolo, the participants also discussed among other matters, the need to review the report to assess the programme of combat of hunger and poverty.

The meeting also addressed the municipal integrated programme of fight against hunger and poverty for 2013, cholera outbreak in the province, the arrangement of parties of the city and the forum on business opportunity.
