Kenya: Fresh Fighting in Tana Delta

Fresh clashes have erupted between members of the Orma and Pokomo in the Tana Delta. According to reports from the Kenya Red Cross 30 people have been killed fresh attacks in Kipua area of the Tana Delta region. Another 30 have been injured while 45 have reportedly been torched in the violence.

The violence, between pastoralists from two villages -- Kilelengwani and

Kau -- fighting over grazing land in August, left over 120 people dead and over 40,000 others displaced.
