The Kenya Union of Post Primary Teachers in Trans Nzoia has said the Cord Alliance will address teachers' woes. Led by executive secretary Furaha Lusweti, the teachers said the alliance will win in the March 4 elections.
"We have decided to support Cord because it will address teachers' challenges," said Lusweti. The teachers endorsed Chris Wamalwa for the Kiminini parliamentary seat.
Wamalwa said teachers' grievances will be addressed by a Cord government. The alliance comprises of PM Raila Odinga's ODM, VP Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper, Trade minister Moses Wetangula's Ford Kenya and 10 other parties.
