Nigeria: NAFDAC Lagos Office Gutted By Fire

The office of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) at 3/5, Oshodi/Apapa Expressway, Oshodi, Lagos was last night gutted by fire.

Though details of the fire incident was still sketchy as at press time, an eyewitness who confirmed the incident, claimed that both the federal and state fire fighters had been contacted over the matter.

The source spoke to LEADERSHIP WEEKEND on phone at about 8.45pm while the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained at press time.

When contacted, the Public Relations officer Lagos office of NAFDAC, Mrs. Christiana Obiazikwor, said she was not aware of the fire outbreak on the grounds that she had left the office when LEADERSHIP WEEKEND spoke with her.
