Kenya: Jubilee Troubles Blamed On Kanu

A SECTION of the Jubilee coalition members have accused Kanu of the tribulations facing their alliance. Speaking to the press yesterday, URP activist George Ayugi warned Kanu against imposing a flag bearer to the coalition.

"Kanu was not a signatory to our December 4 agreement and should stop dictating how Jubilee is run," he said. Kanu chairman Gideon Moi has insisted that his party will back Jubilee if Mudavadi is chosen as its presidential candidate.

Speculation has been rife that Mudavadi may decamp from the Jubilee alliance and run for the Presidency with Gideon Moi as his running mate.
