Kebili — Caretaker President Moncef Markouki, on a three-day visit in the southern governorates of Tozeur and Kébili, laid on Saturday morning the foundation stone of a hotel in the tourist area of Douz.

The project, financed by the Tunisian-Singaporean Tourism Investment Company, will allow to provide 150 direct jobs, the company Director General Laroussi Guiga told TAP news agency.

Building works will start in two months' time and last 18 months, he added, criticising the difficulties faced by investors in Tunisia in view of the complexity of administrative procedures.
