Angola: Luanda Commission Chairman Pledges Better Social Conditions

Luanda — The chairman of Luanda City Administrative Commission (CACL) , José Tavares, Thursday here said the improvement of the urban districts will be the main activity throughout 2013, Angop learnt.

José Tavares was speaking during the ceremony of presentation of yearend greetings to workers of his department.

He added that the problems facing the citizens, such as shortage of power and water, basic sanitation, waste collection, construction of more schools will deserve more attention of the sector.

The urban districts of Luanda comprise ingombota, Maianga, kilamba Kiaxi, Rangel, Samba and Sambizanga.
