Gambia: Slight Leap for Gambia On Fifa

Gambia has made a slightly positive climb by a single step according to FIFA's latest ranking.

It is a significant minor ascension unlike last month when the scorpions shockingly plummeted eleven steps down on the ladder at 142.

Last month, a fall was inevitable after Gambia played football in June,

which ended in a heart-break for Gambian fans but the margin at which Mancini's men plummeted left fans mouth gaped.

But the draw to Angola is credit for the positively minor climb at position 141 in the world led by Spain.

42 is Mancini's men rating in Africa beating only twelve countries in the continent topped by Ivory Coast.

Senegal is 19th in Africa and 77th in globally while Nigeria is 10th in Africa but 52nd in the world. Germany, Argentina, Italy and Colombia is 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th on the ranking. England is 6th.
