AZAM FC and Coastal Union of Tanga will on Sunday clash in what is billed to be a mouthwatering final of the Under -20 Premier League at the Karume Memorial Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
To reach the final Coastal Union dethroned Simba with a shocking 2-1 victory at the same venue on Friday, while Azam saw off the challenge from Mtibwa Sugar after winning 3-2 on penalties.
The match had ended 1-1 in regulation time. The final will kick off at 4pm and will be preceded by third place play off to pit Simba and Mtibwa Sugar, which will kick off at lunch time.
The Msimbazi Reds youth team was under the tutelage of Ugandan tactician Richard Amatre and his assistant Amri Said. All was not well for Simba, who just three days ago reportedly parted ways with the youth coach, Selemani Matola and his assistant Patrick, for what was claimed to be sabotage.
