Kenya: East FM Shines At Radio Africa Party

The Radio Africa Staff party at the Carnivore in Nairobi was one of the must attend events as staff from several brands got to bond and look back on the year that has been.

The event had Information minister Samuel Poghisio as guest of honour and was presided over by the board led by its chairman Kiprono Kittony and CEO Patrick Quarcoo.

The evening saw staff being awarded for their contributions towards growing the brands with Kiss TV anchor Dennis Okari getting the CEO's award and sports writer Francis Wadegu getting the Star journalist of the year gong.

A special mention went to East FM and its presenters Aleem Manji and Kamal Kaur as the most committed on-air talent.

They were awarded for being excellent brand ambassadors and always keeping tabs on the social media and the PR of the station.
