Nigeria: First Set of Winners Emerge in DStv Promo

An Abuja-based businessman, Mr. Alloysius Onuoha, has emerged one of the first winners in the ongoing DStv mega promo, which was inaugurated recently by MultiChoice, to reward consumers for their loyalties to the brand.

The star winner, who was recently celebrated alongside others at the Lagos Head office of the company, got a brand new Renault Sports Utility Vehicle, which was one of the five vehicles on offer in the promo.

Onuoha, who could not hide his joy at the presentation ceremony said, 'Winning one of the star prizes on offer is significant especially as it coincided with my wedding anniversary which I had planned to celebrate with my wife abroad but for providence, I had to cancel the trip and opted instead to purchase a DStv decoder just two weeks back."

His plan of buying the decoder was simply to keep him company with quality programmes and it was therefore a pleasant surprise when he was called up and informed of his winning one of the Renault Duster SUVs on offer. Onuoha added that "The car is coming at an auspicious time and it is indeed a wedding anniversary gift to remember."

Also at the presentation, an all-expense ticket to the 2013 All African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in South Africa was presented to Toyo Osai, the first subscriber to emerge in that category whilst MultiChoice is reaching out to present various prizes to winners all over Nigeria.

General Manager, DStv Nigeria, Mr. Mayo Okunola, noted during the presentation that the emergence of the first set of winners shows the commitment of MultiChoice Nigeria to consistently reward customers for their loyalty. He stated further that many more prizes, including four Renault SUVs are still available for subscribers to win over the next few weeks.

According to the GM; "The promo is offering both new and existing subscribers equal chances of winning any of the brand-new Renault SUVs, lots of all-expense paid trips to South Africa to watch the forthcoming African Cup of Nations tournament in January, LCD television sets and many other prizes on offer upon the purchase of either a complete DStv system for new subscribers, or paying up subscription for upwards of three months for active subscribers."
